    You should not be getting paid less than the prevailing wage, that's the important number. A $25,000 reduction is a lot, and suggests that the job has changed. If that's the case, the employer should have filed a new LCA and amended the H-1B.

    My Lawyer also suggested that we apply Porting PD after the second I 140 gets approved instead of doing it at the time of applying for second I 140.

    Please let me know if you get any info. I will do the same

    He is my attorney for my GC process. He had successfully done my PERM application last year and now we are processing I-140 from last 4 months. Best thing is that he is quick and his paralegal call/email you whenever they miss any document instead of waiting for long time and going thru employer channel which consumes lots of time in between.

    Folks,
    I hope someone can help me out here. Here's my situation -- I am EB2 with PD of May 24th 2006 (current date is May 8th 2006).

    I applied for my I-485 September 2008 and have had EAD for more than a year now. However, I got married in Feb 2009 (after my 485 application) and never had a chance to add my wife to the application (she's on H4).

    Now, I really really want to change my job (not change of role/title, just change of company).

    How does it work if I change companies now? I don't want to or rather can't use EAD since that will make my wife's status invalid. Now, if I am to get a H1B transfer, what happens with my GC application given I already have my EAD with the current company??

    Please advise. Thank you!

    Yes you should furnish this info. One of the forms asks for details of previous marriages which you should provide. I think you will also need to provide your divorce decree. Providing the information does not impact your application one way or the other.

    i am filling my 485 form, i was a divorcee back in india and later came here and got married here.do i have to furnish all the details in the form and give the documents?
    what will be the impact of this info?

    please help?

    Hello everyone,
    I had filed for my I485 on 19th July at Nebraska. My 90 days are getting over on 19th Oct. Still I have not received any receipts for I-485,EAD,I-131.
    My lawyer is going to call USCIS to inquire about my case.
    Does any one had experience calling USCIS after 90 days were over and the USCIS tracked your application and you got your receipts.
    Would be great if any one can share there experiences.

    HI All,
    I currently work for a desi consulting company and applied for H1B Extension.I applied H1B Extension with Current Client Letter and also a copy of PO.But my contract may end in a month or so.I am near to finalising a new contract oppurtunity which if seleted needed to join immediately.Now if i change the job does it effect my pending H1B extension.

    I am not changing my consulting company who holds visa i am only changing client.As i already submitted client letter and PO i am kind of nervous if i get RFE regarding the current client, which i may not be able to answer it.Waiting for your valuable feedback.
