    HI All,

    I have 3 questions

    1)what should be the time period between the Job switch from one employer to another after 6 months of filing of I-485.(AC-21)

    2)Is it required to be employed until i get my actual GC ?

    3) I am in the period of AC-21 (i.e 180 days completed after my I-485 filing)
    If I marry to GC holder . Do i still have to maintain my independent status of I-485 or i can be given some status because of marrying to him..

    Hello,

    I am from India and currently visiting USA on B2 visa. I recently got a job with a very reputed firm in US and applied for an H1B but my application reached USCIS after the H1B quota was full.

    I really want to work for my new employer and would like to know what other options do I have to obtain work permit in USA other than L1 Visa?

    If it is a non profit research org or institute of higher education then H1 will not be counted towards quota. On the other hand if you have the credentials you can try for "O" VISA

    is this true. My mother came back last year using AP but she never got a new I-94. He AP was stamped and the validity of her stay here. So not sure if you will get a I94 or not. please eloborate.

    Jul 2nd filer. EAD approved late Sep and notice mailed on 10/2/07. (LUD on EAD 10/2)
    There is a LUD on the AP application on 10/4/07, but the status still says case received and pending. What could this LUD be ?

    When I saw the LUD (with 10/4) I got excited and thought AP was approved too, but when I click the case details , it still says pending. The text of the details did not change.

    Hi All,

    Please share your experience. This is quite urgent. My H1B(8+ year) is expiring, and my company is willing to file H1B with Engg manager role. My previous H1B or extension was files for software engineer. My GC(EB2) is filed as Software engineer, with PD as Jan 2006.

    Questions
    1) Now is it ok to file H1B with new title? What if H1B gets rejected?
    2) How does this title change affect GC? Can the GC be cancelled because the title has changed or H1B gets rejected? The engg manager role is similar to software engneer role, except people responsiblities.
    3) If the H1B gets accepted, then is there still a danger to GC? Do they verify GC papers before approving H1B?

    Hi,
    I recently got 3 year extension on H1B. I am currently in 8th year of H1B extension. All previous stamping were done in India, I have following question regarding the Visa stamping in Toronto-


    Can I get my stamping done in US consulate in Toronto.
    Where (Link) to take an appointment for stamping.
    List of the documents required.


    Anyone who has done it before, Please help
